Diane Machcinski M.Ed., R.D.

is the Director of A+ Nutrition, a personalized nutrition counseling service. She specializes in an individual approach to healthy eating and meal planning. Individual and group counseling is available for clients requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy (modification for diets for specific disease - diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc). Diane works well with a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She provides effective, goal-centered learning.

Diane is the recipient of the 2010 California Dietetic Association's Dolores Nyhus Award (the highest award given to a California Dietitian for outstanding contributions to the field), 2004 California Dietetic Association's Distinguished Service Award (the 2nd highest award given to a California Dietitian) and also the 2000 recipeint for excellence in private practice, business and communication. A leader in her field, Diane is well recognized by her peers in San Diego, in California and nationally.
